This page sets out what treatment with Dr Arj Imbuldeniya costs, clearly and upfront. A new consultation is £350, injections range from £500 to £3,500 depending on the treatment, and surgeon’s fees for surgery run from around £1,110. Most patients are self-funding or insured, and my team will give you a written all-in estimate before you commit to anything.
Why I publish my prices
Most surgeons hide their fees until after you have enquired. I think that is the wrong way round. You are about to make a significant decision about your own body, and you deserve to know what it costs before you sit down opposite me, not after. Everything below is my genuine fee schedule. The only figure I cannot put on a page is the exact total of an operation, because that depends on your procedure, your hospital and your anaesthetist, and my team will always put that in writing for you before anything is booked.

Injection treatment fees
All injections are performed under ultrasound guidance for precision, and only after proper assessment. Which one suits you, if any, depends on your joint and your goals, not the price.

What a surgical quote actually includes
The price of an operation comes in three parts, and hiding two of them is how surprises happen. There is my fee, the surgeon’s fee, shown above. There is the hospital fee, which covers your bed, theatre, implants, imaging and nursing care, and is the largest part. And there is the anaesthetist’s fee.
