OrthoLongevity was founded in 2016 by Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon Dr Arj Imbuldeniya to deliver specialist, consultant-led knee and hip care with consistently high clinical standards.
Originally established as the ICE Ortho Clinic, the practice was created to provide high-quality private orthopaedic healthcare for patients in West London, combining advanced treatments with careful clinical judgement and personalised care. The clinic now also supports patients who travel from further afield, including Mayfair, Windsor, Surrey, Middlesex, Essex and Kent.
Dr Imbuldeniya is a fellowship-trained knee and hip specialist who has received his education and surgical training at leading institutions in London and internationally. His approach is grounded in evidence-based practice, outcome tracking and continual improvement, with patient-reported outcome measures and verified feedback used to audit and refine care.

Ortholongevity was shaped by more than two decades of treating knee and hip conditions and a simple clinical insight: surgery alone does not determine long-term success.
Over years of specialist practice, clear patterns emerged. Patients recovered best when their treatment addressed not just the joint itself, but strength, movement quality, recovery and overall health around it, factors often treated separately in traditional care.
Ortholongevity was developed to bring these elements together. It is a surgeon-led approach to joint health that integrates diagnosis, optimisation, rehabilitation and, when appropriate, minimally invasive surgery into one coordinated pathway, focused on preserving movement and independence over time.
Increasingly, the biological drivers of joint health extend beyond what imaging and examination alone can reveal. Genetic variation influences how individuals respond to inflammation, tissue repair and load, affecting not only injury risk but recovery trajectory and long-term joint resilience. As our genomics work develops, Ortholongevity will use genomic insight where relevant, so care can be personalised to the individual biology behind each joint.
