Dr Arjuna Imbuldeniya

Specialist Knee, Hip & Trauma Orthopaedic Consultant MBBS, B.Med,Sci (Hons), MSc, DIC, FRCS (Tr& Orth)

Dr Arjuna Imbuldeniya is a leading knee and hip specialist whose practice has evolved far beyond traditional orthopaedics. After nearly a decade as an NHS Consultant at Chelsea and Westminster NHS Foundation Trust, he now focuses on OrthoLongevity — a programme he designed to integrate orthopaedics with physiology, metabolic and hormonal health, inflammation control, recovery optimisation, regenerative therapies and, when needed, the latest surgical technologies.

Born at West Middlesex Hospital and raised in West London, Dr Imbuldeniya trained at St Bartholomew’s and The Royal London Hospitals Medical School before completing senior surgical posts across major London centres. Prestigious fellowships in Sydney and Barcelona further shaped his expertise in joint preservation, keyhole knee surgery, and advanced hip and knee reconstruction.

His approach today is multidisciplinary, holistic and empowering. He works closely with a team of specialists to help patients move confidently, reduce pain, and improve long-term healthspan — not just short-term symptoms. He is known for his calm, compassionate manner and commitment to patient education.

Outside the clinic, he supports Brentford FC and enjoys life in West London with his wife, three children, dog and cats.

Kelly and Louise bring a combined depth of experience that keeps the practice running smoothly — and patients feeling genuinely looked after at every step.

Kelly has over a decade in the private sector, with a background spanning CQC-registered management and hands-on support for consultants in private practice. She understands the full arc of a patient's journey — from that first anxious phone call through to hearing about a successful outcome — and takes real pride in making every stage of it as easy as possible. Showing kindness and compassion to knee and hip patients is at the heart of how she works, and she genuinely wants every patient to feel comfortable asking for help, however small the question.

Louise brings 17 years of experience supporting consultants across both private healthcare and the NHS, covering a wide range of specialities — though orthopaedics has always been her true passion. She founded Appleton-Turnor Medical Admin Services to provide flexible, expert remote support to consultants who need a reliable, experienced pair of hands behind the scenes.

Outside of work, Kelly loves visiting family and friends and spending time with her French bulldog Mabel. Louise is happiest outdoors — running and walking her dogs Bella and Ruffles, kayaking in the warmer months, organising charity fundraisers, playing darts, and baking or cooking for friends.
